Hug for one hug for all

Quick project done today after finally watching the MLP movie - yeah, took me a while before getting to watch it, but I guess since season 8 is way closer than I expected it's about time to get up to date with some stuff So felt like drawing three characters I guess I enjoyed most in this movie.

Lots of blabbering about the movie below, so feel free to skip it.
What do I think about the movie itself? I had good time watching it. It doesn't break any standards when it comes to animated movies,
but it managed to be entertaining one, and hit all the right notes when it supposed to be more comedic or more dramatic.
There's plenty of fun moments like basically all Pinkie Pie antics but also dramatic moments - like brief rift that
happens between Twilight and rest of her friends. Speaking of Twilight, in my opinion she acted very believable and with her behaviour she really sold the threat that Storm King and Tempest Shadow supposed to be - so yeah, I have no problems that she was desperate enough to try to steal that crystal-orb thingie. Sure it was wrong thing to do, but the act felt believable and justified within the context and it was basically act of desperation. Pinkie had some great role in the movie too, being second most important character on the side of protagonists, plus delivering lots of comedic moments and felt believable with her approach too when things got more serious. I guess it were the sadder, more dire moments that got to me the most. Aside from that it was great seeing how the mane 6 left and impact on some of the characters they've met, like Rarity and Capper _{although they could expand on it a bit more} Rainbow Dash and the pirates, Pinkie and Skystar _{these two had really adorable dynamic together, wouldn't mind seeing more
of those two hyperactive girls} and finally Twilight and Tempest _{but I guess lots of folks are too fixed on the orb thing incident, so screw everything else that happens afterwards, right? yeah, I thought so}

When it comes to our regular cast of six mares and a dragon, I guess I wished characters like Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy had bit
more to do, as Twilight, Pinkie, Dashie and Spike felt bit more proactive on the team, but I guess there are always some sacrifices
and there will be always that "thing"  or two that could be done better. It could be worse too though.
When it comes to new characters, yeah I like Capper, Skystar and Tempest - they're all pretty cool each in their own way.
Overall it was soild production - I mean, no one should expect to see a Pixar-level of quality from that movie, nor it was, but I think the execution was done right to feel good after watching it. It was more adventure-oriented than your usual MLP episode but still I think it didn't went too far from the overall permise of the show - you want a movie that takes a big fat dump on a source material? Go check Batman vs Superman, or any of the Paul Anderson's Resident Evil movies, or Bay's TMNT, or Prometheus or...yeah I could go on and on.
I have to say one more thing guys - Derpy got caught up by the shot intended for Twilight by pure accident - she didn't save her, Rainbow Dash did. Derpy was there just at the wrong place and wrong time, lots of people sure know how to misintepret a scene xD

So to end all this babbeling, in my opinion it was decent and entertaining movie. Had good time watching it and I surerly I will give it another watch sometime in the future.
